Figured after a bit of confusion around the new rules, this might be quite useful…. an 8minute video/audio clip explaining the new rules pretty damn well.
There is one piece in it which is still open to varied interpretation I think, and that’s about an attacking free hit within the 23m, is about the ball travelling 5m from a self-pass - can this be 5m backwards and forwards, or does it need to be 5m radial distance from the point the free hit was taken.
