Phoenix & Ranelagh hockey club was formed in 1998 following the merger of two local clubs.
Club Constitution

Phoenix, established by players from the old Huntley and Palmers team in 1984, was based at the Prudential Ibis sports ground, and offered ladies, mens, and mixed hockey.
Ranelagh, based just a few minutes away at Rivermead Leisure Centre, was established in 1928, and ran a thriving junior (girls and boys) section.

Phoenix & Ranelagh continue to be based at the Prudential Ibis club, and use the facilities for hot showers and hot teas after home games, as well various social functions throughout the season.
Club members are also entitled to use the other sporting facilities Ibis has to offer.

Home matches are played at the Rivermead Leisure Centre, which is a 5 minute drive from the clubhouse.
